Personality
Being overprotective of Judai is Yubel's biggest fault, and consequently, she can be awfully vindictive toward anybody who dares to upset him, or just obstructs her objectives in general. Due to her possessiveness, Judai had her card sent into space and, as a result, exposed her to the Light of Destruction which upped her psychotic nature to an 11. Seeing as she felt "betrayed" by Judai and didn't understand Judai's version of "love" towards her, she seeks out to anguish him as revenge and to show her own "love" towards him, as countless logical people would do.
She's extremely adept at manipulation, even if it means harming others (or even Judai himself). What is of the utmost importance is furthering herself to her goal of returning to Judai's side where she rightfully belongs, as he is the center of her world on account of their past lives. Truly, the story of their bond is a superior love story to Twilight.
After Judai lets their souls fuse together (and reciprocates her love!!!), thus absolving her of her Light of Destruction-induced insanity, she calms down plenty and becomes a caring spirit partner to Judai, with their relationship somewhat akin to that of Yugi and the Pharaoh's, although she probably still shows a bit of her crazy overprotective side from time to time. Surely, Yu-Gi-Oh protagonists and excellent life decisions go hand-in-hand.
Note
Yubel is an androgynous dragon-monster whose gender is pretty ambiguous. I'll probably use she or they, but Yubel uses the "boku" pronoun, usually has a female voice (and occasionally uses a male voice at her creepiest), is called it in canon, and was originally male as a human. Have fun making sense of that. Thanks, Yu-Gi-Oh!
